I had few composites done on my molars. Wasn't informed about the longevity and disadvantages. And one tooth is giving me pain while biting down. Do dentists in India practice this kind of inlays? Want a permanent long term solution

Its only a shame that so many dentist, are able to become dentist even though they are not good enough to produce quality work. You watch these videos and think this is the work you will get. But for some reason, there are many dentists who do really bad work, and yet are still able to stay dentists doing bad work. Only if they all did good quality work like we see in these BS videos lol.

Doctor, please answer my question. I am a fourth-year dental student. When I get the filling after about a week or less, the filling falls out completely, even though the materials used in the filling are good (I use the Tokiyama filling).The bond is also good, and the cavity I make has the same conditions required for an amalgam filling cavity, but I do not know what the main reason is.

hey, needing advice! I am retaking and had the 29 DO and I did not leave any caries but I over-prepared my procimal wall, axial, and isthmus. i was confused because i thought they wanted us to go to the max of each of these dimensions ie near 1 mm proximal clearance, 1 mm from the DEJ etc. but also, there was mesial occlusal caries that you could not find unless you went 2mm deep and some people faield because of left caries in that area. is it typical to have the caries not connected for this exam? any adivce on going to the max i would appreciate!

Wouldn’t the extra bond that was added toward the end be counted as flash? Let’s say we don’t use bond as you used in the video, what ways can we utilize to fix the issues the presented in the composite ?

If there is old composite on gingival margin to do DME and looks ok should I remove it to do DME myself before making onlay or should i leave it? I always thought the best is to have no compost or glasjonomer on margins of preparation?

Wow, this was done on my tooth #3 YESTERDAY for a 3/4 palladium crown. Wearing a temporary as we speak. No idea the prep was this sophisticated. I feel fortunate to have found her-a practitioner with Ph.D in Prosthodontics from a UK university-cause I live in the US and she practices in Southeast Asia. Had a trustworthy referral. This guide makes it way better. I watch your videos avidly to then practice the tips and tricks in the sim lab. You have helped me immensely. I struggle with finishing the procedures on time. I have a query. When we are cutting through a diagnostic mock up for veneer preparation, all the composite resin left behind s remove n then an impression is made or before that.

Had a root canal yesterday, and all day I couldn’t figure out why my gum margin was sore. Never had a dental dam used on me before, so I figured that be the logical thing to look up. That clamp/clip looks like it makes total sense, why my gums are sore. Oh well, so far that has been the worst part of getting a root canal, and it’ll probably be better in 2-3 days.

I guess for dental students just to practice the final lobes is it possible to place one large bulk to make the base and then on top of that we can place the enamel lobe to create the anatomy?

When you increased the depth in this area to enhance the pulpal depth, the pulpal floor is no longer flat and on one plane, correct? Is this acceptable practice? Additionally, when measuring the pulpal depth, should our reference point be the center of the tooth or the depth of the dovetail in the preparation?
